An Uzbek citizen was killed in Vladimir region
One of the high-profile crimes that occurred in the Vladimir region at the beginning of 2026 has been solved. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to information provided by the local internal affairs authorities, a 54-year-old Uzbek citizen, K.M., visited the home of his 48-year-old acquaintance L.S. on the evening of November 16.

According to the investigation data, the initial conversation was ordinary, but the situation changed after the consumption of alcoholic beverages. The quarrel between them arose over a debt issue.

L.S. had previously borrowed a large sum from K.M. and asked for more money.

However, K.M. refused this time.

Following this refusal, the argument between them escalated. According to sources, L.S.

angrily took a rope from the house and strangled K.M. to death. After committing the crime, the suspect tried to conceal the traces.

He buried the body under an apple tree in the yard. According to police information, the body was found shortly thereafter.

The deceased’s relatives contacted the police and reported that there had been previous quarrels between them due to financial debts. After the crime, the suspect stole the deceased’s phone and bank card and attempted to use them.

Footage from surveillance cameras and technical examinations confirmed this situation. Currently, the investigative committee has opened a criminal case for murder.

The suspect has been detained, and the evidence is being prepared for submission to the court.
