On December 1, the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported a strong flare of class X on the Sun. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
It is noted that the flare of level X1.9 occurred at 7:49 AM Tashkent time. This flare was observed in the active region number 4274 on the Sun, which has exhibited the highest levels of solar activity for two months.
It is worth noting that this region was the source of five class X flares at the beginning of November, two of which were recorded as the strongest flares of the year. As the Sun continues its rotation, this region has approached Earth while maintaining high activity.
Additionally, another active zone numbered 4294 located in the southern hemisphere of the Sun is also being observed. According to scientists, this situation may make December one of the periods with the highest solar activity.
Currently, plasma flows from the Sun are not significantly affecting Earth. However, experts do not rule out the possibility that these flares may impact Earth's magnetosphere by December 4.
