It has been announced that 61 million tons of gold reserves have been identified in the Shodan gold mine located in Iran's Khorasan province. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The "Fars" news agency reported this information. According to government approval, these reserves include 7.95 million tons of gold oxide ore and 53.1 million tons of gold sulfide ore.
These data make the Shodan mine one of the largest gold mines in Iran. The Shodan mine is located in the eastern region of the country, in South Khorasan province.
This area holds strategic importance due to its proximity to the Persian Gulf and the Afghanistan border. This mine is considered one of Iran's major gold mining projects.
These reserves are expected to make a significant contribution to the country's economy.
