According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Kyiv and European allies are preparing to present the United States with "improved documents" to end the war with Russia in the near future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This statement was made after several days of diplomatic negotiations. Zelenskiy emphasized that security guarantees are necessary to ensure that Russia does not attack again in the future if an agreement is reached.
He also announced that new proposals agreed upon with the leaders of Britain, France, and Germany in London are ready to be reviewed by the United States. Finnish President Alexander Stubb also said that work is underway on three main documents related to the peace process.
Among them are a main agreement consisting of 20 points, security guarantees, and a recovery plan. According to President Stubb, this process could be the closest to peace since the war began.
However, it is reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is pressuring Ukraine to accept a plan that aligns with Moscow's interests. At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin is demanding the handover of the Donbas region in eastern Ukraine, but Zelenskiy has firmly rejected this demand.
