It is becoming difficult to recruit young people into the US Army
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth spoke about the challenges faced in recruiting young people into the American army. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He discussed this issue with recruiters at a meeting held at the Pentagon. According to the minister, despite the existing difficulties, record results have been achieved in recruiting new conscripts into the US Armed Forces.

However, he emphasized that the process is not easy and that there are problems related to physical fitness and educational levels among young people. Pete Hegseth noted in his speech that a large portion of the youth are either physically unprepared or lack sufficient educational qualifications.

This statement sparked debates among the public. Subsequently, the minister clarified his views and admitted that some of the expressions used were inappropriate.

He pointed out that some young people have not received adequate education and also suffer from issues such as attention deficit and hyperactivity. According to the minister, the issue of replenishing the US army with new soldiers is closely linked not only to the military system but also to the education and healthcare sectors.

Therefore, a comprehensive approach is necessary to address such problems.
