Another tragic incident occurred in Kazakhstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Rescuers from the Emergency Situations Ministry found the bodies of three people at an altitude of 3700 meters during search and rescue operations in the Almaty mountains. According to official information, the deceased had decided to climb up the mountain path on December 24.
After some time, contact with them was lost. Following this, rescue services began search operations.
The bodies of two people were found around the "Lokomotiv" peak, at an altitude of 3700 meters above sea level. Earlier, it was confirmed that another member of the group had died.
As a result, it was confirmed that all members of the three-person group had died. According to the details of the incident, the deceased were not professional mountaineers.
They did not have special training for climbing the mountain. According to experts, inexperience and carelessness were the causes of the tragedy.
The search and rescue operations were conducted under difficult conditions. About 80 rescuers, 12 special vehicles, four canine units, and drones were involved in the operation.
Severe cold, altitude, and mountain terrain further complicated the process. The Emergency Situations Ministry once again reminded mountain tourists to strictly follow safety rules.
It was emphasized that when climbing mountains, it is necessary to study weather conditions in advance, pay attention to avalanche risks, avoid traveling alone, and have the necessary equipment. According to statistical data, since the beginning of 2025, 119 search and rescue operations have been carried out in the mountains of Kazakhstan.
This once again shows that the risk level in the mountains is high. Mountains require responsibility, preparation, and caution.
Mistakes can lead to serious consequences.
