Artificial intelligence is widely used in Indian films

Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are widely used in the Indian film industry. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Directors use AI capabilities in pre-planning scenes, creating visual effects, and processing sounds. For example, director Vivek Anchalia created 95 percent of his film "Naisha" with the help of artificial intelligence, significantly reducing the project budget.
Artificial intelligence especially creates great opportunities for low-budget films. Director Arun Chandu used AI technology to create scenes in his post-apocalyptic genre film.
Sound processing specialists also create fast and efficient sound effects using artificial intelligence. This process helps produce films in a shorter time and more economically.
Nevertheless, artificial intelligence cannot always fully reflect cultural and emotional nuances. For example, the Tamil-language film "Raanjhanaa" was reprocessed with AI, but this was done without the director's consent, which caused criticism.
Additionally, there is a risk of violating intellectual property rights and actors' consent when using artificial intelligence. However, filmmakers accept AI as an assisting tool in the creative process.
Although AI technologies greatly assist in producing films quickly and cheaply, human emotion and control remain important in creating complex and emotionally deep scenes.
