European Union expressed concern over Venezuela

The European Union has announced that it is closely monitoring the situation related to Venezuela. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At the same time, Brussels reiterated its previous position, maintaining the view that the legitimacy of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is insufficient. This was reported by podrobno.uz.
The head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, expressed these views during a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. She stated that she had spoken with Marco Rubio and the European Union's ambassador in Caracas and noted that they are keeping the situation under control.
According to Kallas, the European Union has previously emphasized several times that Maduro's legitimacy is insufficient. She reminded of the importance of respecting international law and the principles of the UN Charter, calling on all parties to exercise restraint.
She also specifically stressed that any steps must comply with international standards. Sources in Brussels report that the U.S. did not inform the European Union and NATO countries in advance about its plans regarding Venezuela.
Additionally, according to CBS, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife were captured by the U.S. Delta Force special unit and taken out of the country. This news has caused sharp reactions from various countries and organizations internationally.
Serious concerns are being expressed about the escalation of the situation and the potential violation of international law.
