Canada concerned about US pressure and security threats

According to Bloomberg news agency, the interest of former US President Donald Trump's administration in Venezuela and Greenland has caused concern for the Canadian government. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Following statements regarding measures against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and the purchase of Greenland, Canada is worried about the possibility of military or economic pressure from the US. Experts believe that although the likelihood of military intervention is very low, vulnerabilities related to Canada's security are becoming apparent.
The country's large territories and economic system's dependence on the US pose a serious threat to Canada. The weakness of Canadian military forces causes problems not only in defense against external threats but also in protecting against internal risks.
Additionally, the USMCA trade agreement between the US, Canada, and Mexico, as well as some separatist sentiments in the province of Alberta, also affect relations between Canada and the US. Furthermore, there is a possibility of US interference in Canada's internal politics through disinformation and financial campaigns.
These issues are prompting the Canadian government to take effective measures against new political and economic threats. At the same time, Canada must pay serious attention to preserving its independence and strengthening national security.
