Tensions may escalate between Israel and HAMAS

Tensions between Israel and HAMAS may escalate again. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Wall Street Journal, citing officials from Israel and the United Arab Emirates, reported the possibility of renewed fighting in the Gaza Strip. It is noted that despite the agreement signed within the framework of the peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump, HAMAS refuses to disarm.
For this reason, the Israeli army has developed a plan to conduct a new military operation in the coastal area inhabited by the Palestinian population. The HAMAS movement is trying to restore its strength lost in the war.
They continue activities such as repairing the destroyed tunnel infrastructure and making regular payments to their members. It is also mentioned that with the election of a new leader, HAMAS's position on disarmament may change.
The war in Gaza began on October 7, 2023, with an attack by HAMAS. As a result of Israel's retaliatory strikes, more than 71,000 Palestinians were killed, most of whom were civilians.
The ceasefire reached on October 10, 2025, allowed thousands of people in Gaza City to return to the ruins. However, despite the terms of peace, another 400 people were killed in strikes carried out by Israel, and the Israeli army lost three soldiers.
