Martial law and curfew imposed in Tabriz

Martial law has been declared in the city of Tabriz, Iran, and a curfew has been imposed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to official information, it is now strictly forbidden to go outside in the city after 8:00 PM. These measures have been taken against the backdrop of protests and an economic crisis in the country.
Reports indicate that the Grand Bazaar in Tabriz and major grocery stores have ceased operations. Although some small retail outlets are operating during designated hours, the ability of the population to meet essential needs is significantly limited.
It is said that protests have intensified due to the sharp devaluation of the national currency — the rial. This situation has led the government to strengthen security measures.
There are also reports that security forces have used firearms to suppress the demonstrations. Additionally, the potential threat of air strikes by the United States is considered one of the factors contributing to the tightening of restrictions in the city.
For these reasons, strict order and discipline have been established in Tabriz, and the population is required to comply with the imposed rules.
