Denmark: No Russian or Chinese ships near Greenland

The head of Denmark's Arctic Command, Major General Soren Andersen, denied former US President Donald Trump's statements about the presence of Russian and Chinese ships near Greenland. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In a comment to the Reuters news agency, General Andersen emphasized that neither Russian nor Chinese ships have been observed in the Greenland area. According to him, although the ships of these countries operate in the Arctic Ocean, they have not been seen near Greenland.
Additionally, General Andersen stated that Denmark invited the US to participate in military exercises planned to be held in Greenland this year. However, so far, the US has not given an official response to this invitation.
Donald Trump has repeatedly emphasized Greenland's strategic importance for US national security. Following his statements, European countries began to strengthen their military presence on the island.
In particular, France sent 15 soldiers, Germany 13, and Finland two soldiers to Greenland. Considering that the island is part of Denmark, Denmark has also announced that it will deploy additional military forces.
