Two trains collided in Spain, 39 people died

At least 39 people died as a result of a collision between two high-speed trains in the Córdoba province of Spain. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Reuters news agency, the incident occurred on the evening of January 19 near the town of Adamuz. Based on official information, more than 120 people were injured, some of whom are being treated in hospitals.
Details of the incident indicate that the train traveling from Malaga to Madrid derailed. At that time, it collided with another train coming from the opposite direction.
Both trains were carrying hundreds of passengers. Since the accident site is located in a remote area, rescue operations were complicated, but emergency and rescue services took all necessary measures.
The country's leadership visited the scene and personally supervised the situation. The exact causes of the disaster are still unknown, and experts are conducting an investigation.
This tragedy is considered one of the largest accidents in Spain's railway system in recent years.
