Trump: There is great hatred between Zelensky and Putin

Former US President Donald Trump made a statement at the World Economic Forum in Davos regarding the tense relations between Ukraine and Russia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized that there is a “great and unnatural hatred” between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, which remains one of the main obstacles preventing peace negotiations. According to Trump, he initially thought it would be easier to stop this war.
However, considering the current situation, he acknowledged that this process is complex not only politically but also psychologically. He described the relationship between Zelensky and Putin as “great hatred,” stressing that reaching an agreement under such circumstances is very difficult.
Nevertheless, Trump expressed confidence that the war will eventually end and that many lives will be saved as a result. In his view, both Russia and Ukraine could be inclined toward a peace agreement.
He noted the necessity for the parties to reach a compromise through dialogue. Trump also indicated his intention to meet with Zelensky and called on both sides to come to an agreement.
He said, “If they do not do this, they will make a big mistake.” Trump highlighted that many people are dying as a result of the ongoing war and stressed the need to end this bloody conflict as soon as possible.
He mentioned that during negotiations, various opposing views arise, for example, one side blaming Zelensky and the other blaming Putin. He described this situation as a “very complex balance.”
In conclusion, according to Trump, although the current situation is difficult, the parties must strive to reach an agreement. The main question now is whether this process will lead to practical results or if the talks will remain just words.
These statements in Davos are urging the international community to pay more serious attention to this issue.
