Trump declared a state of emergency against Cuba

US President Donald Trump has declared a state of emergency in the country, assessing the threat coming from Cuba as a "danger to national security." This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to White House information, based on this decision, a mechanism will be developed to impose additional customs tariffs on goods from countries that sell or supply oil to Cuba by other means. Official Washington states that the actions of the Cuban leadership are considered aimed at harming US interests.
Furthermore, Cuba is alleged to be supporting states considered hostile to America and groups associated with terrorism. For this reason, the Trump administration plans to increase economic pressure on countries supplying oil to Havana.
The state of emergency regime grants the president additional powers that are difficult to exercise under normal circumstances. This accelerates the decision-making process and tightens the mechanisms further.
Experts believe that the Cuban economy is very sensitive to changes in oil supply. Lazar Heifets, a representative of the Latin America Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, emphasizes that the reduction of oil deliveries from Venezuela and Mexico has already negatively affected the Cuban economy.
The new tariff pressure may lead to energy shortages and price increases. This decision serves as a signal not only to Cuba but to the entire supply chain dependent on the oil flow.
The main question now is, which countries and which goods will be the first to be affected by these tariffs?
