Trump joked about Greenland, Canada, and Venezuela

Former US President Donald Trump made a joking remark about Canada, Greenland, and Venezuela potentially joining the United States in the future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Washington Post reported on this. According to sources, Trump made these comments during a closed-door dinner held at the Alfalfa Club.
The publication noted that some of the president's jokes were not received as warmly by the attendees as expected. As a result, there were several moments of silence during the meeting.
Trump humorously emphasized that he had no intention of entering Greenland by military means; instead, he joked that it could be purchased. He stated that there were no plans to make Greenland the 51st state of the United States.
Instead, he jokingly suggested that Canada could become the 51st state, and Greenland the 52nd. Additionally, Trump joked about the possibility of Venezuela joining the United States in the future and becoming the 53rd state.
Although these humorous statements added interest to the meeting, they were not warmly received by all participants.
