Test of 10-person flying taxi conducted in China

Yesterday, on February 10, China's Fengfei Aviation Technology company successfully conducted a test of its newly developed V5000 eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicle). This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The device is the world's largest flying taxi, weighing 5 tons. This was reported by the “Gizmochina” publication.
It is reported that the flying taxi took off from the Kunshan base in Jiangsu province. The device vertically ascended, then smoothly transitioned to horizontal flight, fully demonstrating its technical capabilities.
This project is evaluated not only as a technological experiment but also as part of a strategy to reduce urban congestion and to surpass Western countries in the field of air transportation. The device is equipped with 20 engines, some of which can fail without compromising the safety of the flight.
The V5000 Matrix model, designed for passengers, has a capacity of 10 people. This flying taxi can cover up to 1500 kilometers in hybrid mode and 250 kilometers on electric power alone.
This is seen as an environmentally friendly and fast means of transport connecting remote areas with city centers. International aviation experts regard this test as a major achievement.
While previous eVTOL devices usually carried no more than 6 passengers, the V5000 has initiated a new era of public transport in the air with the ability to carry 10 people simultaneously.
