Severe snowstorm in the US: 2,000 flights canceled

A severe snowstorm in the northeastern regions of the USA has caused over 2,000 flights to be canceled nationwide, with at least 700 more delayed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The online flight tracking service FlightAware announced this. According to the report, a total of 2,026 flights within the USA, as well as those arriving or departing from the country, were canceled in one day.
This situation is causing serious disruptions in the country's transportation system. According to the country's Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, another natural disaster is approaching the northeastern states.
According to her, heavy snowfall, winds, and storms may be observed over the area stretching from New Jersey to the Southeastern New England regions. Coastal areas are expected to suffer the most damage.
Additionally, in January of this year, a large part of the country was also affected by heavy snowfall. Especially severe consequences were recorded in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana, states less adapted to winter conditions.
This situation is a serious test for local governments and emergency services.
