Kim Jong Un: No desire for dialogue with the South

The leader of North Korea, Kim Chen In, emphasized during the military parade dedicated to the ninth congress of the Korean Workers' Party that there is no desire to engage in dialogue with South Korea and that he is ready to take severe measures against the neighboring state if necessary. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the "Yonhap" news agency, Kim Chen In stated in his speech that for improving relations with the United States, Washington must respect North Korea's status as defined in the Constitution and abandon its hostile policy.
He stressed that if these demands are met, friendly relations between the two countries could be established. Additionally, Kim Chen In announced that he has given instructions to enhance nuclear capabilities and develop new weapons systems.
He spoke about plans to develop submarine-launched intercontinental ballistic missiles, short-range missiles, as well as artillery systems capable of targeting South Korea. The North Korean leader emphasized that the country's nuclear and missile programs have advanced significantly in recent years.
He assessed nuclear weapons as the main factor ensuring North Korea's security.
