U.S. Department of Justice Releases Epstein Case Documents

The US Department of Justice has made public previously confidential Federal Bureau of Investigation documents related to financier and sex crime accused Jeffrey Epstein. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Among these documents are serious allegations made by a woman against Donald Trump. According to Reuters agency, the documents released on March 5 include details of interviews conducted in 2019.
An unnamed woman claimed that in the 1980s, when she was between 13 and 15 years old, Epstein introduced her to Trump and that Trump tried to coerce her into inhumane sexual relations. In previous investigations, this woman had only stated that she was abused by Epstein himself.
The White House press service completely denied these allegations as baseless. The Department of Justice also emphasized that some of the claims in the documents may be questionable.
These documents were previously archived due to being considered repetitive. Currently, the disclosure of this information is viewed as a result of pressure exerted by the US Congress.
Representatives of the Democratic Party accuse the Trump administration of hiding important materials related to the president. Earlier, Jeffrey Epstein was accused of recruiting minors and died in prison in 2019.
His associate Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
