Kurds in Iraq and the US in talks about Iran

Reports have emerged about secret negotiations between Kurdish militants located in Iraq and the US regarding combating the Iranian government. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
US officials are considering the possibility of supporting these armed groups and supplying them with weapons to overthrow the Iranian leadership. In response, Iran has struck at the headquarters of the Kurdish opposition based in Iraq.
Official Tehran views the Kurdish groups' rapprochement with the US as a threat to its national security. Kurds make up about one-tenth of Iran's population and have historically been active participants in the region's political processes.
Kurdish leaders currently emphasize that there has been no direct invasion into Iranian territory. However, international analysts consider this strategy very dangerous.
According to an Iranian-American historian, such an approach could lead to a civil war in the region and further complicate the situation. The US's actions recall tactics previously used in conflicts in Syria and Iraq.
At that time, Washington also formed alliances with local Kurdish groups to fight against government forces. In the current situation, the tension with Iran may signal the beginning of new geopolitical maneuvers.
