Israeli strikes have caused the deaths of thousands in Lebanon

Israel's military forces have further intensified their operations against the territory of Lebanon. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A series of airstrikes directed at the center of the capital, Beirut, raised thick clouds of smoke over the city. These attacks were mainly targeted at the Bashoura district and peripheral areas in southern Lebanon, contributing to an escalation of the conflict.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced significant figures. To date, nearly seven hundred civilians have been killed as a result of hostilities, and more than one thousand five hundred people have sustained injuries of varying degrees.
The humanitarian situation is worsening daily. More than eight hundred thousand people have been forcibly displaced from their homes and places of residence.
Many families who fled southern Lebanon and the Dahiyeh district are currently residing in shelters organized by the government or temporary tents while seeking safety. Repeated attacks in the Ramlet al-Bayda area have further exacerbated the plight of the displaced population.
Additionally, an attack carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles on a university building near Beirut resulted in the deaths of two educational staff members. The violence, which began on March 2nd, has intensified further as Israel continues its coordinated air and ground strikes against the Hezbollah movement.
Despite calls from the international community to halt fighting and reduce tensions, clashes continue. With nearly ninety percent of government shelters filled, thousands of Lebanese citizens remain homeless, without income, and lacking confidence in a safe future amidst ongoing regional instability.
The population has been left without access to essential items such as food, medicine, and hot water.
