Afghan Women and Children Killed in Night Attack on Pakistan

The Taliban government in Afghanistan issued serious statements regarding the night air raids carried out by Pakistan. Zamin.uz reported on this.
According to government representatives, Pakistani military aircraft targeted residential homes of civilians in Kabul and Kandahar provinces. Zabihullah Mujahid, the government's press secretary, stated that the attacks also caused significant damage to key fuel depots located in the airport area near Kandahar city.
The most painful news is that numerous women and children were killed in these raids. These events are linked to a new and most deadly phase of border clashes that have been ongoing for the past three weeks.
The sharp escalation of the conflict since February 26 has caused people to flee their homes. According to United Nations data, approximately fifteen thousand people have so far been forced to leave their homes to survive.
The UN mission in Afghanistan has officially confirmed that seventy civilians lost their lives between February 26 and March 5. The Taliban leadership, however, emphasizes that the number of casualties continues to rise following recent attacks.
The Pakistani side denies targeting civilians, stating that their military operations are directed solely against militants. However, due to the complexity of the situation in the region, independently verifying these claims remains difficult at present.
Islamabad has repeatedly reiterated accusations that the Kabul government is providing shelter to Pakistani Taliban and ISIS-K militants. Afghan officials, in turn, fully reject these claims, emphasizing that no other forces are hosted on their territory.
Despite calls from the international community for peace and calm, violence in the region shows no signs of subsiding. As of now, the situation remains unstable.
Both countries continue to report casualties among their security forces and civilians. This situation is already increasing the risk of new and large-scale conflicts in a region that is geopolitically unstable.
Future developments will directly affect both the bilateral relations between these two neighboring states and the stability of the entire region.
