Eron announced the end of the Strait of Hormuz operations

Iranian officials have issued a new statement about the increasingly tense situation in the region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf expressed important views regarding the fate of the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, after the military actions carried out against Iran by the US and Israel, the Strait of Hormuz can no longer operate as before.
Ghalibaf said: “The Strait of Hormuz no longer functions as it used to. It is currently effectively closed.
This was not in our plan, but the current situation caused it.” He also shared his opinion about the future of this strategic passage, emphasizing that it cannot return to its previous state.
“The Strait of Hormuz will never be the same as before. Because the US and Israel cannot ensure security here under the current conditions,” he said.
According to analysts, such statements are not only political signals but may also affect the global energy market. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important oil transit routes in the world.
Experts note that if movements in this passage are restricted or stopped, global oil prices could change sharply. Therefore, any changes in the region are highly likely to directly impact the international economy.
