Japan lodges official protest over North Korean missile launches

The Government of Japan has responded to the latest missile launches carried out by North Korea. In connection with this incident, which took place on the morning of 19 April, Tokyo announced that it had sent an official protest note to Pyongyang.
According to the official statement of Japan, such actions by North Korea pose a serious threat to the security of the country. It is also particularly stressed that tests of this kind may have a negative impact on peace and stability in the region. The Japanese side has stated that it has the situation under control and is constantly monitoring security issues.
Tokyo is not alone in countering these threats. The Government of Japan announced that it will continue to cooperate closely with the United States and South Korea in order to strengthen security measures and respond appropriately to the situation. The three states are working together to coordinate their efforts and ensure regional security.
According to information provided by the Japanese Ministry of Defense, several missiles were launched into the air by North Korea. According to expert estimates, these missiles belong to the ballistic type. Preliminary calculations and analyses indicate that the launched missiles fell outside the boundaries of Japan exclusive economic zone. For this reason, no material damage or harm to people health has been recorded as a result of this incident.
Nevertheless, the Japanese side demands that such actions not be repeated.
