European countries call for cessation of cooperation with Israel

Attitudes among European countries regarding the situation in the Middle East are becoming increasingly tense. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In particular, Spain, Slovenia, and Ireland have called on the European Union to review cooperation agreements concluded with Israel. These countries emphasize the need to discuss the issue of temporarily suspending these agreements.
This issue was raised by José Manuel Albares during a meeting held within the framework of the European Union. In his view, the current geopolitical situation has reached a very serious level.
The state of affairs in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region is being assessed as one of the most severe crises in recent decades. The minister noted that the emerging situation poses a serious threat not only to regional security but also to stability throughout the world.
Therefore, it was urged that the European Union adopt a clear and unified position on this matter. Special attention was also paid to the situation in Lebanon.
Serious concerns are being expressed regarding actions contrary to the rules of international law occurring in the southern regions of the country. Civilians are being forced to leave their homes due to security reasons, and the humanitarian situation is deteriorating day by day.
Experts say that if the European Union makes a firm decision on this issue, it could have a significant impact not only on political relations but also on economic and diplomatic ties. To date, the Israeli side has not officially responded to these calls.
However, according to observers, such initiatives are expected to further intensify debates and negotiation processes in the international arena.
