Chinese Teenager Builds Real Aircraft Engine in His Own Apartment

Che Jingan, a fourteen-year-old Chinese teenager, has caused a sensation in the engineering world by assembling a real aircraft engine in his apartment. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

While he initially made simple paper airplanes, over time this hobby evolved into serious scientific research. The teenager began studying the laws of aerodynamics and the foundations of complex engineering independently, without any assistance.
Che Jingan did not copy existing blueprints; instead, he developed the entire project himself from scratch. He meticulously designed every detail, creating both two-dimensional and three-dimensional models.
Furthermore, he personally performed complex technical calculations critical in aviation, such as airflow, pressure, and heat resistance. Such tasks typically require high qualifications from a team of senior engineers, yet the Chinese teenager managed to accomplish this alone.
The engine construction process took nearly eight months, with approximately nine thousand yuan provided by his parents spent on the project. Although the initial testing phase did not go as expected and ended in failure, this did not stop the young inventor.
On the contrary, he drew the right conclusions from his mistakes and continued to work on his craft. Currently, Che Jingan is working on creating an even more improved and powerful version of the engine.
