The new heir did not appear at the funeral of his father

Funeral ceremonies for the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei are underway in the Islamic Republic of Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
It has been announced that funeral events held in five major cities of the country will continue until July 9 of this year. However, up to this date, the son of the deceased, the current Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, has not appeared at any of the ceremonies held so far.
This information is being circulated by international publications, particularly citing sources from The New York Times. Earlier, Akbar Purjamshidiyon, head of the committee organizing Ali Khamenei’s funeral, had refrained from commenting on this matter.
According to him, the decision on whether Mojtaba Khamenei will participate in the funeral events does not fall within the authority of the organizing committee. This situation has raised various questions among the public.
Anonymous sources within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as reported by The New York Times, have clarified that Mojtaba Khamenei’s absence from public view is due to concerns for his safety. It is reported that security services fear potential threats to his life.
Specifically, it is suggested that his exact location could be revealed through possible Israeli surveillance or tracking of his movements, which is why, from a security standpoint, he has not been permitted to attend public events.
So far, Iranian official authorities have issued no official statement regarding Mojtaba Khamenei’s participation in the funeral proceedings. The situation remains in the focus of international attention and political analysts.
