Eleven people were killed in a powerful tornado in China.

One of the most astonishing and shocking details of the incident was that a man living on the eleventh floor was lifted into the air along with his sofa due to the powerful wind.
According to information released by CNN, during this disaster in Hubei Province, wind speeds reached up to 280 kilometers per hour. Based on the latest confirmed data, at least eleven people have died, and over 130 citizens have been injured.
Thousands of homes, administrative buildings, and critical infrastructure facilities have been severely damaged. The most severe situation was observed in Xuangang City.
According to local public media reports, a strong gust of wind lifted a thirty-year-old man into the air along with household furniture. He is currently in critical condition in the intensive care unit of a hospital.
In some areas, the tornado reportedly hurled even heavy trucks tens of meters away. In Ejou City, five people also became victims of the disaster.
Over three thousand specialists have been deployed to carry out search and rescue operations in the region. Experts note that such powerful tornadoes are not uncommon for Hubei Province.
The incident is believed to be possibly linked to recent heavy rains and the Maysak typhoon. At the same time, severe flooding continues in the southern parts of the country.
In Guansi Region, four people have died, and several others are missing. In Hanchjou City, historical rainfall records have been broken.
The floods have posed another serious threat: more than eight hundred snakes have escaped from a submerged special farm.
Among them are highly venomous species such as cobras, which has caused great concern among the local population. Currently, special teams are working to capture these escaped reptiles.
The Chinese leadership has issued strict directives to all services to provide assistance and to relocate residents to safe areas.
