The search for the Boeing 777-200 belonging to Malaysia Airlines, which disappeared on March 8, 2014, off the western coast of Australia, has resumed. The aircraft, which was en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, reportedly vanished from radar, according to 9News.

The aircraft last communicated approximately 40 minutes after taking off from Kuala Lumpur. Military radar recorded that the Boeing deviated from its course, flying over northern Malaysia and the Andaman Sea, then turned south and disappeared. There were 239 people on board the flight.

The search for the missing airplane will be conducted by Ocean Infinity. If the company finds nothing, the Malaysian government will not pay for the operation.

The company will inspect an area of nearly 15,000 square kilometers in the Indian Ocean, approximately 1,500 kilometers from the coast of Perth. Ocean Infinity emphasized that this search operation will be more precise and targeted than previous ones.

If any aircraft debris is found, it is still unknown who will study it. The primary focus will be on the black boxes, as their analysis will help understand what happened to the airplane
