The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has presented a new project aimed at simplifying the process of obtaining a permit for window tinting during the summer season. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This document proposes the introduction of a short-term tinting permit for the front and rear side windows of M1 category vehicles. The main change is the eightfold reduction in the permit price for individuals and legal entities.
The new permit will be valid from May 1 to August 31 each year and will cost only one basic calculation value. The M1 category includes passenger transport vehicles with no more than eight seats, excluding the driver's seat.
The prices for short-term permits will be as follows: 1 basic calculation value for citizens and companies of Uzbekistan, and 5 basic calculation values for foreign legal entities. Payment will be fully made regardless of the date the permit is issued.
At the same time, the price of the one-year tinting permit for the front and rear side windows will remain the same, that is, 8 basic calculation values for individuals and legal entities, and 14 basic calculation values for foreign legal entities. The project is currently in the discussion phase, and discussions will continue until August 22.
