Geely has presented the restyled version of its popular Atlas crossover, as reported by auto.mail.ru. The Geely Atlas is known as the Boyue L in China and has sold over 2 million units in more than 60 countries worldwide.
In the new version, the front of the car has been completely updated: a new grille, narrow headlights without vertical extensions, and T-shaped air intakes. The rear has revised light graphics and bumper design.
A notable feature highlighted by the company is the 2.4-meter LED light strip that extends from the edge of the hood. Its illumination area is 184×23 m. The LED strips in the rear lights are 2.9 meters long.
The new Atlas will have a fully functional control system based on artificial intelligence. This system allows the car to be driven in a partially autonomous mode.
Technically, the crossover will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine (218 horsepower) and a 7-speed robotic transmission. The previous version had a 1.5-liter (181 horsepower) engine. The type of drive is front-wheel drive.
