Renault and Total will double the speed of electric vehicle charging

Renault and Total Energies have developed a new cooling technology called Cell Shield, according to cenyavto.com. This system effectively cools batteries by immersing them in a special dielectric liquid. As a result, charging time has been reduced by 50% and power reserve has increased by 6%.

Unlike conventional radiator or air cooling systems, this technology enhances safety and reduces manufacturing costs by 6%. The technology has been tested by Ricardo and Renault over several years.
