According to Daily-Motor.ru, Toyota is planning to reintroduce its popular mid-size minivan – the Estima (known as Previa in international markets). This model was previously an average-priced option between the Sienta and Alphard and was discontinued in 2020. According to Japanese media, the new Estima will be presented in 2027 in two variants – electric and hybrid (PHEV).
The vehicle will have a length of 4.9 meters and a wheelbase of 3 meters. It is expected to be equipped with a hybrid system based on a new 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor. Official information indicates that the electric version will have a range of up to 600 km. The price of the vehicle is said to be in the range of 6–8 million yen (approximately 370–500 million soums).
