
People's Artist of Russia Vera Alentova passed away at the age of 83. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by the Pushkin Moscow Drama Theater, where she worked for many years. The actress had been working at this theater since 1965.
It is reported that the cause of her death was a myocardial infarction. According to media reports, the actress felt unwell during the farewell ceremony with actor Anatoly Lobotsky at the Mayakovsky Theater on December 25.
Vera Alentova was born on February 21, 1942, in the Arkhangelsk region of Russia. She spent part of her life in Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
She graduated from the school-studio at the Moscow Art Theatre in 1965. Her career in cinema began with the film "Dni letnye" filmed in 1965.
She gained international fame through her role as Katerina Tikhomirova in the film "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears." Additionally, Vera Alentova is remembered by audiences for her roles in films such as "Tomorrow Was the War," "Shirli-mirli," and "Envy of the Gods."
