Paul Gascoigne in intensive care, in serious condition

Former England national team player Paul Gascoigne has been admitted to the intensive care unit. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to the Mirror, he was found unconscious at his home. The 58-year-old Gascoigne, known for playing with Lazio, Newcastle, and Tottenham, was seen lying on the floor of his house by a friend, who then called for medical assistance.

The former footballer is currently recovering and will be under medical supervision for several days. His friend Steve Foster stated that Gascoigne is grateful for the support from many of his old friends and wishes to return to his best form.

Gascoigne has previously been in the public eye due to mental health issues and alcohol addiction. The exact causes of the current situation have not been disclosed.
