Real spent a record amount on transfers this summer

This summer, Madrid's "Real" club spent a significant amount on new players. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The team strengthened its squad with players like Din Xüysen ("Bournemouth"), Alvaro Karreraz ("Benfica"), and Trent Alexander-Arnold ("Liverpool"). Additionally, in August, Franco Mastantuono ("River Plate") will join the team led by Xabi Alonso.

In total, "Real" has spent approximately 178 million euros on transfers, making it the most expensive transfer window for the club since the summer of 2019. Last season, the prestigious Madrid team lost the La Liga championship title to "Barcelona."

They also lost to the Catalan team in the finals of the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa. In the Champions League, the team reached the quarter-finals but was defeated by "Arsenal."

Recently, in the Club World Cup, they missed the opportunity against "PSG" in the semi-finals. These results have been unsatisfactory for the club, and the team is striving to strengthen itself in the new season.
