The Telegraph reports that Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford may change clubs during the current transfer window. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to the source, Newcastle and his former team Manchester City are interested in the 22-year-old England national team goalkeeper. Trafford was trained at the City academy, but in 2023 he was sold to Burnley for 17.3 million euros.

Since then, he has been the main goalkeeper of the team, playing in 73 matches and keeping a clean sheet 31 times. Currently, negotiations are in the early stages, and both teams are preparing to strengthen the goalkeeper position before the new season begins.
