Former Moscow "Spartak" team and Russia national team midfielder Denis Glushakov shared his thoughts on the "red-whites" prospects for the new season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, "Spartak" won the first match and many consider the team a main contender for the championship. However, Glushakov believes that speaking less on this topic will benefit the team, as excessive attention increases pressure.
He also emphasized that entering the top three this season will be even more difficult compared to the previous one. He explained this by the strengthening of "Spartak's" main competitors.
Last season, the team, led by Dejan Stankovich, finished in fourth place, with CSKA, "Zenit," and "Krasnodar" ahead. Thus, the team needs to work even harder to achieve better results in the new season.
