Ahmetov moves from "Zenit" to "Wings of the Soviets"

Midfielder Ilzot Ahmetov is changing clubs. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to the Telegram channel “Insaydy ot Karpa,” the 27-year-old player will soon move to the “Wings of the Soviets” club. The Samarkand team will loan Ahmetov until the end of the 2025/2026 season.

The loan will be free of charge. “Wings of the Soviets” will pay 3 million rubles per month from Ahmetov's salary.

The remaining salary will be covered by the player's current club “Zenit.” It is reported that Ilzot Ahmetov will join the “Wings of the Soviets” team on Wednesday.

Ahmetov's current contract with “Zenit” is set to last until the middle of next year. The club does not plan to extend the contract with the player.

This change signifies the beginning of a new phase in the player's career.
