Former "Lokomotiv" striker Dmitriy Bulykin assessed the club's activities in the transfer market in an interview with the publication "Evro-Futbol.Ru". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his opinion, "Lokomotiv" has acted very prudently in the transfer market. The club does not take big risks, does not pay large sums of money or high commissions.
This is considered the right approach for clubs in Russia. Unfortunately, other clubs pay high prices for players and also give large commissions, which is an incorrect practice for Russian football, Bulykin said.
In the summer of 2025, "Lokomotiv" sold defender Nair Tiknizyan to the Serbian club "Crvena Zvezda". According to Transfermarkt, the transfer fee amounted to 1.7 million euros.
At the same time, the club signed contracts with forwards Nikolay Komlichenko, Zelimxon Bakaev, and Aleksandr Rudenko. Their total expenses amounted to 1.5 million euros.
These actions demonstrate the club's cautious policy in the transfer market and are aimed at maintaining financial stability.
