The official UEFA website updated the national associations ranking table on Thursday close to midnight. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This update was made taking into account the results of the qualifying matches of European tournaments held during the week. The changes in the table are not significant, especially in the top ten.
However, Ukraine and Russia swapped their positions. After Shakhtar's victory against Beşiktaş, Ukraine climbed to 27th place.
Now Ukraine has a total of 18,475 points over five years. Russia dropped to 28th place with 18,299 points.
It should be noted that UEFA automatically awards Russia 4,333 points for each season. This is the lowest score for Russia in the UEFA ranking table over the last five seasons, which reflects the performance during the exclusion period.
No changes are observed at the top of the table. The top five includes England (90,839 points), Italy (80,946), Spain (74,953), Germany (71,117), and France (65,177).
These countries maintain their position as the strongest leagues in European football.
