Manchester City is adding a new player to the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to The Athletic, the "Citizens" have decided to re-sign their former trainee, goalkeeper James Trafford, from Burnley. In the summer of 2023, Manchester City sold Trafford to Burnley for 14 million pounds.
Now the club is purchasing the 22-year-old player for 27 million pounds, which is approximately 31 million euros. James Trafford will sign a contract for five seasons, with an option to extend for another year.
However, the player must first undergo a medical examination, which is primarily scheduled for Monday. After this process is successfully completed, Trafford will officially join the team.
The club management aims to strengthen the goalkeeping department through this transfer.
