Iran's New Defense Strategy Surprises the West

Armed conflicts in the Middle East are developing unexpectedly. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Contrary to what many expected, Tehran has well-organized military preparations and is applying new combat methods. Western experts and politicians have studied Iran's secret defense tactics and Donald Trump's views on the duration of the operation.
The recent military actions have demonstrated not only Iran's missile capabilities but also its command system. Experts emphasize that Tehran has abandoned conventional warfare and shifted to a strategy that exhausts the opponent's economic and military resources.
According to Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the country's defense is organized based on the "mosaic" principle. This system involves dividing command into independent units.
Each province has its own command, so even if central control is struck, the remaining units can continue the fight. This structure eliminates the possibility of defeating Iran with a single attack.
Military blogger Yuriy Podolyaka notes that Iranians have learned from the war experience of 2025 and changed their tactics. Instead of large drone swarms, small, frequently attacking groups are being used.
This is economically costly for the US and Israel. In an interview with the "New York Times," US President Donald Trump emphasized that the operation in Iran will not last long.
He believes the process could end within 4-5 weeks. Trump expressed confidence in America's vast ammunition reserves and said thousands of Iranian soldiers are expressing a desire to surrender.
So far, Iran's strikes have reached American facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE. This indicates how serious the situation is.
Do you think, as Trump said, the conflict can be stopped within 5 weeks, or will it turn out to be a long-lasting "strategic trap"?
