Laporta: Barcelona will not sign a new player this summer

Barcelona's president Joan Laporta responded to a question about the club's summer transfer plans. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This summer, goalkeeper Joan Garcia joined the "blaugrana" team. He was purchased from the "Espanyol" club for 25 million euros.

Additionally, winger Marcus Rashford was signed on loan from "Manchester United." In the interview, Laporta emphasized that no new agreements regarding summer transfers are expected.

He stated that a strong squad has been formed in the team and the head coach aims to involve players from the second team in the games as well. Therefore, no new transfers are planned for now.

On August 16, the reigning Spanish champions will begin the new La Liga season with an away match against the "Mallorca" team.
