As a former player of the Russian national team, he emphasized that the “Spartak” team has the most fans across the country. In his opinion, the number of supporters for the “red-whites” is significantly higher than that of other clubs, and there is no need to dispute this.
Yeshchenko stated that “Spartak” can still be considered a people's team. He also pointed out that the “Zenit” club has more supporters only in St. Petersburg, while in other regions it receives less support compared to “Spartak”.
