The Marseille club could not reach an agreement with Juventus regarding the transfer of Timothy Vea. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The 25-year-old wing defender, who can also play in the left wing position, has expressed his willingness to move to the Provence team and wants to change clubs as soon as possible. However, negotiations between the clubs are proving to be complicated.
According to Vea's agent, Juventus was ready to sell the player to Nottingham Forest for 14 million euros in June, but now they are not accepting a similar offer from Marseille. The publication Gazeta.ru reports this, citing journalist Nicolo Schira.
It is worth noting that the American player himself rejected Nottingham Forest's offer. Juventus's director, Damyen Komolli, does not approve of selling Timothy Vea to Marseille for 14 million euros, as an unnamed English club is offering between 18-20 million euros.
Thus, the club prefers a higher price, taking its interests into account.
