The Paris club "Paris Saint-Germain" was unable to reach an agreement to purchase Lille's goalkeeper Luc Chevalier. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club had agreed on terms with the 23-year-old player and had recently made an official offer. However, according to journalist Loic Tanzi, the Lille club rejected the offer.
They aimed to earn at least 40 million euros from their star player, and it was stated that the terms proposed by the capital club were not beneficial for them. Luc Chevalier played in 48 matches across all competitions in the 2024/25 season, conceding 53 goals.
Reputable portals like Transfermarkt estimate his value to be around 30 million euros. For this reason, negotiations regarding the player's transfer between Paris Saint-Germain and Lille continue, but so far the parties have not been able to reach an agreement.
It is expected that the most favorable terms will be found for the player and the clubs.
