According to Gilermo, Lokomotiv can compete for the championship

Marinato Gilermo previously played as a goalkeeper for the Russian national team and Moscow's Lokomotiv team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He expressed his opinion on whether his former team is capable of fighting for the championship. According to Gilermo, he does not see any serious reasons that would prevent Lokomotiv from competing for the championship or at least for a top-three finish.

He also noted that the new players added to the Zenit team have significant experience. However, he emphasized that it is natural for new players to need time to adapt.

This season, in the Russian championship, Lokomotiv is the only team that has won all its matches according to the results of two rounds. Last season, the Lokomotiv team, led by Mikhail Galaktionov, finished the competition in sixth place.

In Gilermo's opinion, the team has good potential and they have the right to set high goals. Moreover, if the new players fully adapt to the team, Lokomotiv could also achieve success in the important matches ahead.
