Saltykov: There was a lack of activity against Lokomotiv CSKA

Lokomotiv midfielder Nikita Saltykov shared his thoughts on his team's defeat against CSKA in the Russian Cup. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In an interview with Euro-Futbol.Ru, he explained why they could not achieve success in the match. According to Saltykov, the team did not show enough activity in the first half.

There were some shortcomings in certain episodes, which did not allow them to gain the upper hand over the opponent. When asked about the team's good start to the new season, the player emphasized that the season is still ahead, so he does not want to talk about it yet.

He recalled that the team led the championship table last season. He was also asked about the recent addition of Ramírez to the team.

Saltykov mentioned that he has participated in one or two training sessions so far, so it is still early to evaluate him. Lokomotiv head coach Galaktionov was congratulated by the entire team on reaching his hundredth game.

The players formed a corridor for the coach, and Barinov wished him more games with warm words, and a jersey with the number one hundred was gifted. Saltykov also evaluated his performance in the new season.
